The World Eaters is a series of stories that mostly stand alone. With the exception of Book two — which is closely linked to Book one — the aim is to be able to dip in or out at any point without remembering or even reading every intervening story. Each story is its own thing; just set inside an inter-connected universe that spans the present day to the far future. More Marvel Cinematic Universe than direct sequel.
